Incorporated on October 1, 1900, the Morris Public Library has been part of Morris History for more than 100 years.
The Library has seen a number of homes, including one of the green-facing rooms of the Community Hall; a room at the James Morris School; under the existing Fire House and since the early 1980’s in its present location in the old auditorium area of the Morris Community Hall.
A long line of Directors has also graced its presence: Mrs. Humphrey; Mrs. Slaiby; Joanne Austin; Lee Swift Cook; Helen Watsi; Lorraine Kerr-Faison, Zoe Greenwood. Current Library Director is Elena Granoth.
The Library Board meets on the third Tuesday of the month at 7:30 pm.
